Is this a real company?
Yes. VortexHaus is ArtEcomCompany LLC, an American company registered in Wyoming; 95% of the people who own our tools live in the United States, and returns and repairs are handled from our warehouse in Plano, Texas. It was founded and is led by Arthur, who lives in the UAE and set out to build a tool company good enough to stand next to the American brands he grew up with. Product and engineering are in Bristol, UK, with Neil Macqueen's ex-Dyson team. Sourcing and quality control are in Suzhou, where Qin Li is on the line for every batch. 33,579 people own one of our tools and 3,600+ of them have reviewed us on Trustpilot at 4.7. You can meet the team on About, see the test rig on The Lab, and watch the factory on Quality. If you still have a doubt, write to Justine; she signs her replies.
Why is MACH $279 when Amazon has blowers for $59?
Because you are paying for different things. The $59 blower pays for a fake spec sheet and a listing. MACH pays for our own tooling, a team of engineers, a third-party lab that measures what we claim, a factory with our own person on the floor, and a 90-day promise that costs us real money when we are wrong. We are a young company that grows by putting the margin back into the product. If it does not blow you away, send it back and we pay the shipping.
Which battery does it take? Is one included?
No battery is included. MACH comes in three versions: DeWalt 20V MAX, Milwaukee M18, Makita 18V LXT. It runs on the packs you already own. We recommend 4 Ah or bigger for full-trigger run time; the run time per pack is on The Lab. Pick your platform on the product page before you add to cart; if you picked the wrong one, write to us and we swap it.
Where is it made?
Designed in Bristol, UK, by our product team, on tooling we own. Built by our partner factory in Suzhou, China. We did not choose Suzhou blind: it is where Makita and Worx build too, a manufacturing city with the supply chain a premium tool needs. Our own product lead is on the line for every batch, and every unit runs at full trigger before it is boxed. You can watch the line on Quality & Standards.
How long does delivery take?
Your order ships within [n] business days and reaches a US address in [n to n] days; you get a real tracking number the day it ships. The number on the product page is fed by our fulfilment partner every day. If it is late, we email you before you have to ask.
How does the 90-day One-Pull promise work, in plain words?
You have 90 days from the day it arrives. Use it. If you do not want it, write to us; we send a return label and pay the shipping. It does not need to be like new. You get a full refund to the card you paid with within five business days of us receiving it. One One-Pull return per household and shipping address, per product model. Warranty is separate: one year standard, two if you register, and an optional ten-year plan.
I own a Turbo Jet. Should I upgrade?
Honest answer: if your v3 does its job, keep it. MACH is 60% cooler at the nozzle, has 4.5% more thrust and runs on your existing pack. If you dry vehicles for a living, that is a different day. If you blow leaves twice a month, it is not. And if you still want to upgrade, email us: owners have a separate line and a deal made for folks like you.
Will it do my job?
Cars, trucks, boats: yes, that is what it was built for. Leaves and light snow: yes. Wet heavy leaves and deep snow: no, buy a backpack blower. Windscreen ice: with the scraper nozzle, coming. See Which MACH is for you.
Will there be nozzles?
We hear you. Nozzles are the most requested thing in our owner survey, and our engineers are on it. When something passes the rig, owners hear first.
What is the warranty?
One year standard, two with registration, optional ten-year plan. Every return is opened and the reason goes back to the engineers before the next batch, so the next batch is better because of you.
